Online Application

The Eppendorf Award is granted annually to European researchers not older than 35 years. It acknowledges outstanding contributions to biomedical research in Europe based on methods of molecular biology.

If your research work meets the selection criteria of our independent jury, you are invited to apply online for the Eppendorf Award 2011.

  Selection criteria
  1. Ability to work independently (candidate’s own contribution to work submitted)
  2. Creativity (independent of instructions from head of institute)
  3. Successful practical application of research approach
  4. Significance of research results for the field of medicine
  5. Achievement of candidate in relation to his/her age
  Application requirements

Your online application must include:

  • your personal data*
  • a title summarizing your submitted work*
  • your curriculum vitae
  • your publication list
  • PDF files of max. 3 of your published papers
  • an essay of max. 300 words summarizing the submitted papers*

* These data must be filled in online in our submission form on the following pages. The other files/documents can be attached via document upload from your computer.

  • All submitted documents/files must be in English.
  • Applications sent by standard e-mail are not accepted.
