Overview

This unique centrifuge combines the best features of a microcentrifuge (small footprint) and multipurpose benchtop centrifuge (rotor versatility) in one instrument, giving you the best of both worlds. Numerous rotors for tubes and containers extend the applicational possibilities of this unique centrifuge by far. Compact, versatile and most easy to use! We had your application and easy handling in mind when designing the centrifuge. Positioning the refrigeration unit on the back of the unit results in a very low access height – making loading and unloading of the centrifuge so easy!

Additional cooling features of refrigerated Centrifuge 5430 R:

  • Patented compressor technology minimizes vibrations – protects your precious sample!
  • Temperature range from –11 °C to +40 °C
  • Small footprint and low access height of 30 cm, as refrigeration unit is at the rear of the unit
  • Maintains 4 °C at max. speed with all rotors
  • Continuous cooling following centrifugation process
  • FastTemp for pre-cooling of the centrifuge
  • FastTemp pro™ for pre setting the centrifuge via day and time
  • ECO shut-off function can be set to engage after 8 hours of non use to reduce energy consumption and extend compressor life

1 One tube per adapter, 6 per rotor. Up to 105 mm tube length “small” and “large” adapters for 13, 16, and 16.8 mm tubes can be combined for a maximum rotor capacity of 12 tubes per run. For all other adapter combinations or longer tube lengths the loading capacity is at least 6 tubes per run. Please perform a manual test to determine the actual loading capacity.
