Eppendorf Lobind

With this recently developed Eppendorf tube type, Eppendorf introduces the care-free handling of even small amounts of proteins, antibodies, viruses and peptides for the first time. Until now, tubes had to be saturated with BSA or siliconized prior to use to improve the recovery of the proteins in the plastic tube. With the new Eppendorf protein LoBind Tube this is no longer necessary.

Recovery rates of more than 97% are now possible. The tube does not reduce enzyme activity and denaturation effects due to interaction with the surface are virtually impossible. All of these properties are achieved without the undesired side effects of a surface coating.

All LoBind tubes are batch certified PCR clean and available in a variety of sizes; each box is packaged in bags of 50 tubes to further reduce the risk of contamination
