Eppendorf Tissue Culture Plates

Experience unprecedented convenience and safety for your plate-based cell culture experiments thanks to the Eppendorf chimney-well design. This chimney-well design provides »stand-alone« wells for each and every well on each plate and offers the option to fill the intra-well space with liquid. This will lead to minimization of the »edge effect« in outer wells thus preventing inhomogeneous cell growth.
At the same time well-to-well cross-contamination is also prevented due to this design. The chimney-well design is realized in each plate format in the Eppendorf Tissue Culture Consumable range.

Additionally the construction of the lid ensures homogeneous growth by minimizing evaporation during incubation. Ventilation gaps at the lid base enable optimal gas and temperature exchange when plates are stacked in the incubator which leads to minimized condensation and therefore minimized contamination. Support taps are featured on all Eppendorf Tissue Culture Plates to facilitate contamination-free work. The support taps are positioned on the lid to minimize surface contact when the lid is set aside while working under the laminar flow bench.
Secure handling of the plate is ensured by a convenient gripping aid on the plate base and the cut-corner design enables easy sealing of the plates if required.
