First day of my university internship: my supervisor wanted to teach me how to pipetting properly, so he obliged me to pipette glycerol for seven hours!!! This is my "Eppendorf Moment"

Cell culture Lab. Sterile conditions. Class II Fume Hood. Eppendorf pipettes and Pipette controller were sheen and bright, while I tried to keep my hand steady. My best friends since that moment and even more now in my MS-Lab!!!

My lab has a quite a number of micropipettes that are shared among students and research assistants. Yet, there are a few ones that many of us prefer to use. One such, is a 1000 ul micropipette from Eppendorf: it was really easy to use and accurate. Such was its demand, that some of my own colleagues hid it from others so they can use it for themselves for some time before giving back to someone else.

I have been working in my lab for 5 years now and I remember last year I was doing a qpcr. I had just finish my plate and checked that everything was fill and I checked my pipette and I had not changed the volume.

Restarted everything it was already 18h50.

In 2019 January I finally received the Eppendorf Research Plus. I was amazed to see in front of my eye 24-channel pipette system. This make me happy about such pipette that ensure my all future experiments will preform at least 3X faster. After few days of work I was looking at pipette and thinking about this type of tech support is giving motivation to do research. As researcher this is the best part of work, when company like eppendorf understand your pain point and come up with fantastic solutions.

Well, first time I met Eppendorf was in 2015 when I started my internship. In the lab was 3 Minispins - everyone love them, because they're so small and cute. I work here for now and for today we have also 24-tubes centrifuge... and we love her too! In time of increase of quantity of diagnostic tests she helps us a lot - she's a fast, quite and looks good. Ah, of course we have microtubes, and they're also good for our goals.

This will sound silly, but anyway here goes: As I've only just graduated, I'm still discovering all the fun quirks and niches of all the science-related companies and researchers. l was a bit overwhelmed with all of the equipment and brands when I walked into the first lab I joined and all of the different companies I was exposed to suddenly made it tough to separate them out initially, then I remember one day receiving a very much needed cup of coffee from a friend in an Eppendorf mug. On a side note it also hadn't really occurred to me that Eppendorf and other companies made any thing besides all the important lab equipment. I was delighted to find that Eppendorf could also provide the receptacle for my coffee, a staple for a long day of experiments. Silly I know, but when I think of Eppendorf I'm always reminded of that first cup of coffee in the Eppendorf mug, followed then by the pipettes.

I started my academic career in science last year, involving a large number of pipetting. Obviously, the first pipette I used was from Eppendorf, it is marked in my memory. For sure that Eppendorf pipettes will accurately follow my scientific path!
