Congratulations to Andrea Loreto at the School of Life Sciences, Medical School, University of Nottingham

Eppendorf supports and awards young scientists and researchers for their outstanding performances in different areas of their work. We are proud to have sponsored this year's Poster Prize at the NAD Metabolism and Signaling conference, hosted by the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), at Timmendorfer Strand, Germany.

As a company known for premium laboratory products, we are delighted to present Andrea with the first prize for the most outstanding poster which included a 500 Euro winning check. The FASEB jury acknowledges Andrea's major contribution towards understanding the role of NAD metabolism in the pathologies involving axon degeneration.

Eppendorf sincerely thanks the main organizer of the conference, Prof. Dr. Andreas H. Guse, Vice-Dean of Education, Medical Faculty and Director of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, to give us the idea and opportunity to sponsor this prize.

Furthermore, Eppendorf would like to wish Andrea a successful future for his continuing research career.
