We attended an exhibition at the University of Cambridge yesterday and were fortunate to meet Dr Julija Krupic with her new lab member Dr Rasmus Christensen. Julija was a 2015 finalist from the Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology, an international prize, awarded annually to one young scientist for the most outstanding neurobiological research based on methods of molecular and cell biology.
Julija informed us she is currently opening a new lab within the Department of Physiology Development and Neuroscience and mentioned she hadn't yet redeemed her prize money of $1,000 to spend on Eppendorf products.
After a brief consultation with her local representative Vanessa Talbot, Julija chose to equip her new lab with several Research plus pipettes and epT.I.P.S. which she already enjoys using.
