Basics of Molecular Biology: Introduction to DNA Cloning
Target group:
Technical or scientific personnel with minimum knowledge of molecular biology. Participants must have basic experience of working in a laboratory.
Objective of seminar:
This course will cover understanding of the structure and function of cells and nucleic acids, including mechanism of genetic information transfer from DNA to RNA and protein. Participants will become familiar with the principles behind molecular biology experiments and develop practical skills to implement these methods in research. Participants will also learn the principles of PCR and apply this knowledge to clone PCR products.
