In a final step of the mAb drug discovery workflow a stable cell line is established that can express high amounts of humanized monoclonal antibody long-term. Cultivation and selection of stable cell lines require multiple centrifugation steps. Centrifuge 5810 in combination with Rotor S-4-104 offers an economical solution with an excellent footprint to capacity ratio. This setup is ideal for standard cell culture applications including cell harvesting in 15 mL or 50 mL conical tubes.

Increased Efficiency

  • Excellent footprint to capacity ratio to save precious benchtop space (smallest 3 Liter centrifuge in the market)

Improved Sample Safety

  • Aerosol-tight bucket caps to reduce risk of sample-/cross contamination with improved handling for easy one-hand operation optional available.
  • Newly inserted rotors are detected automatically to limit speed to the maximum permissible value and guarantee correct speed to g-force conversion.

Better Ergonomics

  • Soft-touch lid closure system for ergonomic lid operation. There is no need to exert unnecessary force when closing the centrifuge lid. In combination with a low opening height you can close the centrifuge with ease.
  • Low lid opening height for use under shelves.
  • New optional Eppendorf mobile tables lower centrifuge to an ergonomic height for easy loading and unloading of samples and rotors for a more ergonomic work environment.
