For the selection and characterization of antibody leads low-throughput screening assays are performed in microtiter plates (MTPs) various methods are required and all include multiple centrifugation steps. Centrifuge 5430 in combination with swing-bucket Rotor A-2-MTP offer an economical solution for two MTPs per run in a small footprint. Centrifuge 5430 also accommodates rotors for 15 mL and 50 mL conical tubes and high-capacity rotors for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes.

Increased Efficiency

  • Saves precious benchtop space: versatility of a multipurpose centrifuge with footprint of a microcentrifuge.
  • Rotary knob control for faster changes of speed and time.
  • Fast access to your most frequently used settings with five custom program buttons.

Improved Sample Safety

  • Automatic lid opening at the end of the run prevents sample warming and allows easy access to samples.
  • Newly inserted rotors are detected automatically to limit speed to the maximum permissible value and guarantee correct speed to g-force conversion.
  • For your safety, the device automatically detects imbalances during operation and stops the run immediately with an error message and a signal tone.

Better Ergonomics

  • There is no need to exert unnecessary force when closing the centrifuge lid. For ergonomic lid operation Eppendorf designed the soft-touch lid closure system. In combination with a low opening height you can close the centrifuge with ease.
  • Easy to read large display and intuitive operation.
