Stem Cell Community Day 2025

Since its inception in 2017, the Stem Cell Community Day (SCCD) has been a pivotal event that brings together researchers from both academia and industry worldwide. This bi-annual gathering serves as a platform for discussing the latest advancements and emerging technologies in the dynamic field of stem cell research.

Over the years, significant progress in cell therapies has expanded the scope of the SCCD. While maintaining a strong focus on stem cell-based innovations - key drivers of transformative approaches in regenerative medicine - the SCCD has evolved to include discussions on a broader range of stem cell-based applications. These include pioneering approaches in areas such as alternative food sources and novel therapeutic strategies. The commercial application of stem cells and related therapies necessitates their cultivation on a large scale, presenting unique challenges and opportunities.

This year's SCCD, held November 4-5 in Copenhagen, will continue to emphasize the importance of controlled cultivation of stem cells, particularly in stirred-tank bioreactors, while also exploring advancements in related cell therapy fields. The event promises to be an exceptional opportunity for scientists and professionals to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and foster collaborations that will drive the future of cell therapies and their applications.
