Centrifuge CS-(F)NX Series - Micro ultracentrifuges

Product Information

Compact micro ultracentrifuges to fit your lab

Our micro ultracentrifuge models in the CS-(F)NX Series – including Centrifuges CS150FNX and CS150NX – achieve extraordinarily high speeds of up to 1,050,000 x g (150,000 rpm). With these speeds, combined with fast acceleration and deceleration ramps, our micro ultracentrifuges ensure speedy separation of samples such as nucleic acids, proteins, protein complexes, vesicles and viruses in vessels between 0.2 – 30 mL.

Eppendorf micro ultracentifuges: High-speed separation for your lab needs

Experience unparalleled efficiency with our CS-(F)NX Series. Centrifuge CS150NX and Centrifuge CS150FNX are designed to achieve speeds up to 1,050,000 x g (150,000 rpm). These compact micro ultracentrifuge models ensure rapid and reliable separation of various samples, including nucleic acids, proteins, and viruses. Choose the perfect model to fit your lab's needs and enjoy a stress-free work environment with noise levels below 45 dB(A).

Micro ultracentrifuges with innovative features for enhanced efficiency

Additional features of our CS-(F)NX micro ultracentrifuge series include the self-locking rotor system, which enables quick and easy rotor exchange within seconds. Plus, the innovative, non-contact imbalance sensor ensures safe operation and lets you balance samples by eye (up to 5 mm)* eliminates time-consuming sample balancing via scale.
The large touch display of our mciro ultracentrifuge range, with a quick start up time of only 8 seconds makes operation fast and easy, while providing enhanced security and compliance with user-based access control and documentation of runs. The ability to pre-program up to 20 programs supports multi-user labs as well as laboratories working in GxP/GLP compliance.

*Except rotor S140AT, S110AT, S100AT5, S80AT3, S50A for which the difference level is slightly shorter

Find your perfect matching micro ultracentrifuge model

Choose between two compact options to fit your space: a floorstanding model (Centrifuge CS150FNX) with a very compact footprint, or a benchtop model (Centrifuge CS150NX), both with standard power requirements for a flexible placement within your laboratory. Both devices have a low noise level of <45 dB(A), ensuring a stress-free work environment, even when working directly next to the device.

Balancing of samples is now easier than ever

With our CS-(F)NX micro ultracentrifuge series, you can simply balance your samples by visual check only (within 5 mm difference between samples, excluding rotors S140AT, S110AT, S80AT3 and S50A for which the difference level is slightly shorter). The powerful non-contact imbalance system monitors the vibration of rotor and drive shaft at all times. In case of unusual vibrations, the sensor is activated and the run is stopped immediately.

      Tool-free rotor installation

The self-locking rotor system locks the rotor by centrifugal force, you can simply place the rotor on the drive shaft and that's it! No need to lock the rotor with a rotor key or push a button to release it.
