How you can make an impact
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and keep Eppendorf goods moving reliably across the globe.
Resolve shipment issues such as bill-of-lading corrections, accessorial charge approvals and customer refusals to keep deliveries on track.
Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to book export orders and schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
Prepare accurate, compliant export and import documentation (e.g. commercial/proforma invoices, SLI, letters of credit, export licenses) in line with EAR and customer requirements.
Maintain complete shipment and export files, documenting customer-specific requirements and ensuring records are audit-ready.
Obtain, compare and recommend freight quotes for LTL, FTL and parcel shipments to support cost-effective logistics decisions.
Support internal teams, including Distribution, with routing guide questions, shipping system issues and day-to-day logistics topics.
What sets you apart
Bringing a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics or freight forwarding.
Confident handling of international shipments and a solid understanding of customs and export/import regulations.
Practical experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, to manage orders and shipments efficiently.
A precise, detail-oriented working style that ensures documentation and records are accurate and complete.
A strong team mentality: you collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners and communicate clearly.
