Improving human living conditions – that is our shared purpose at Eppendorf. With our high-quality, precise premium life science products – from pipette tips, dispensers and centrifuges to bioreactors and ultra-low temperature freezers – we help scientists around the world conduct research in the lab faster, more accurately and more efficiently.
I listen to truly understand.
I lead the way, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
I stand by what I say.
I make progress visible and share what I learn.
If this resonates with you, you are exactly who we are looking for.
You will work with people who combine different perspectives and make new things possible. You contribute your ideas, ask questions, challenge the status quo – and you will find an environment that empowers you and helps you grow. Because we believe in people who want to shape the future. People like you.
How you can make an impact
In our People & Organization (P&O) team, you help create a great employee experience by supporting key HR and recruitment processes that keep our organization running smoothly and compliantly.
You actively support talent sourcing activities, using various channels to help build a diverse, high‑quality candidate pool.
You screen resumes and assist with shortlisting candidates, helping to move profiles efficiently through the hiring process.
You facilitate job postings in Workday and ensure they are up to date, accurate and aligned with our requirements.
You conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit, providing a professional first impression of Eppendorf.
You coordinate interviews and meetings, managing calendars and scheduling to ensure a smooth and structured recruitment workflow.
You maintain clear, timely communication with candidates, answering questions and keeping them informed about their status in the process.
You update recruitment reports on a regular basis, providing visibility into the progress and status of open positions.
You support background verification processes, helping to ensure a reliable and compliant assessment of candidate credentials.
You contribute to continuous improvement in the recruitment life cycle by sharing observations and ideas for more efficient processes.
You support the coordination of Mercer tests and other assessments, helping ensure a consistent and fair evaluation of candidates.
You assist in various HR operations activities as needed (e.g. onboarding support, documentation, employee queries), gaining broad exposure to the P&O function.
You contribute to the payroll process, supporting accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
You help compile statutory reports for India and MEA, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
You collaborate on creating quick guides and simple explanations for APA policies, making complex information accessible and easy to understand for employees and managers.
What sets you apart
Bringing a bachelor’s degree / master's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, commerce or a related field – or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience (e.g. internships).
Showing strong interest in HR, talent acquisition and people topics, and a desire to build a career in the P&O field.
Ideally bringing initial experience (e.g. internship, apprenticeship or project work) in recruitment, HR operations or administrative roles.
Working confidently with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and being eager to learn new digital tools and HR systems (experience with Workday is an advantage).
Communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and representing Eppendorf in a service‑oriented and friendly manner towards candidates and colleagues.
Being well‑organized, reliable and detail‑oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, follow defined processes and meet deadlines.
Demonstrating a proactive, hands‑on mindset: you ask questions, seek feedback and are curious to understand the “why” behind processes.
Handling confidential information with discretion and acting with integrity in all HR‑related topics.
Enjoying collaboration in a diverse, cross‑functional environment and being open to learning from experienced colleagues.
What we offer
