Europe 2022 Summit:ライフサイエンスにおけるゼロカーボンのリーダーシップ
科学における持続可能性の文化を大陸中に構築
この2 年間で、人類が直面している最大の難題に対応する科学の驚くべき可能性が実証されました。しかしながら、人の命を救い、世界を変えるこれら無数のイノベーションを可能にする基礎研究は、環境に多大な影響を及ぼします。新型コロナウイルスとの戦いにはまだ勝利していないものの、私たちの文明が環境危機に直面していることも忘れてはなりません。
私たちの世代の主な課題である気候変動への対応に際して、科学はどのような役割を果たすことができるでしょうか。学会、研究所、バイオテクノロジー、製薬会社はどうすれば持続可能性を日常業務に組み込み、グリーンラボを自分たちの実験室、組織、長期戦略の文化にすることができるでしょうか。科学は環境持続可能性のグローバルリーダーになれるでしょうか。
My Green Labのビジョンは、すべての科学が人と地球の健康と幸福に役立つ方法で行われる世界を確保することです。この画期的なイベントは、イニシアチブの一環として、ヨーロッパの科学界の持続可能性への取り組みにおける現状を示す目的で企画され、大陸中の主要な組織から講演者を招きます。
