We have several types of high-speed centrifuge tubes and ultracentrifuge tubes, in addition to centrifuge bottles, to suit different sample separation needs. Whether you need high heat resistance, protection from hazardous samples, or larger sample capacities, our consumables are up to the job.

Microtube^© – Convenient 1.5 mL tubes that are easy to handle and can spin at up to 252,000 × g (depending on the rotor type).

Thick-walled tubes – Their extra wall thickness makes these tubes a safe option for high-speed and ultracentrifugation, offering enhanced durability and resistance to heat.

Centrifuge bottles – We have two different types of high-speed and ultracentrifuge bottles, including round bottles for high resistance to g-forces, and flat-bottom bottles that have a wider opening and are available in larger volumes (up to 1.5 L).

Material

Eppendorf high-speed and ultracentrifuge tubes are available in various materials, including stainless steel, which is ideal for applications requiring high chemical and heat resistance. We also have tubes made of polypropylene (PP) or polycarbonate (PC). These provide strength and durability, making them ideal for everyday tasks involving high-speed or ultracentrifugation.

Our high-speed and ultracentrifuge bottles are made of PP or PC, with their strength and durability making these a great everyday option. If you need optical clarity, which is key for observing cell pellets and balancing volumes, our PC or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles are an excellent choice.
