Bioprocess Training – Initial Training

Target group:

All new customers working with Eppendorf bioprocess equipment and new employees.

Objective of seminar:

In addition to support during installation, we highly recommend training for all new customers. The structure and methods of the training are tailored to the customer’s requirements from a general overview to a very detailed session on specific products or issues. Training in small groups makes it possible to provide individual guidance.

Content of seminar:

Theoretical part

  • Introduction to bioprocess control software: setup of experiments, calibration procedures, introduction to automation possibilities
  • Introduction to bioprocess hardware
  • Introduction to system maintenance

Practical part

  • Setting up fermentors/bioreactors
  • Preparing sensors
  • Calibration
  • Setting up experiments with bioprocess control software
  • Trial experiments, depending on customer requirements

Booking information

Registration:
You will receive from us written confirmation of the registration and an invoice with full payment details. Upon receipt of this confirmation, the participation is binding. The number of participants of each course is limited. We recommend early registration.

Training material, lunch and refreshments are included in the course fee. Travel and hotel costs are to be borne by the participants.

Certificate:
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance.

If a seminar is cancelled by Eppendorf AG, the course fee will be refunded. Further claims are excluded.

Cancellation:
You can cancel your registration free of charge if cancellation is made more than 6 weeks prior to the beginning of a course in writing. If you cancel within 6 weeks, a 35 % cancellation fee will be due. If you do not cancel 2 weeks prior to a course, the full fee will be due. The naming of a substitute participant
is possible.

You will receive further information on the seminar and suggested accommodation together with the confirmation.

We reserve the right to cancel courses depending on the number of participants.
