Liquid Handling: Basic Principles, Maintenance and Pipette Calibration - 'We come to you'

Target group:
This is an on-site LH course conducted at participants chosen venue. Laboratory personnel, technicians or researchers who wish to learn or improve pipetting skills. Individuals who are responsible for pipette maintenance, calibration and quality control.

Objective of seminar:
Proper pipette handling and use of suitable dispensing tool are necessary to ensure accurate and reproducible results. Participants will learn the fundamentals of liquid handling and be trained on correct pipetting techniques as well as procedures to maintain and calibrate pipettes.

• Pipette calibration or verification requirements and result evaluation

 

Practical

• Correct pipetting techniques
• Disassembly of pipette lower part and cleaning steps
• Pipette calibration or verification setup and procedure

Scheduled courses are run with a minimum of 8 participants. For groups of at least 8 people from the same institution, you can also request a preferred date.

Booking information
Participants are responsible for their own transport costs, including car parking. Participants enrolled in two or more courses are eligible for a 10% discount, and organisations sending two or more participants are eligible for the same discount.
Registration is only valid once payment has been made to your local dealer or Eppendorf Southeast Asia and Eppendorf Singapore and is fully refundable if cancelled more than two weeks before the course start date. If cancelled after that, a 50% refund will be given.
