Which pipette tips should I choose?

Choosing the right pipette tip sizes

Looking for 10 µL, 200 µL, 1000 µL (1mL) micropipette tip sizes, or tips for other pipettes? We have a wide range of pipette tip sizes to suit your liquid handling needs.
For instance, Eppendorf epT.I.P.S.® and epT.I.P.S.® Biobased are available in several size variants, ranging from 0.1 µL to 10 mL. If you’re working with larger volumes, our Combitips® advanced tips sizes range from 0.1 mL - 50 mL, and serological pipets range from 1 mL to 50 mL.

Looking for pipette tip bags or pre-filled tip boxes?

Eppendorf tips are available in pre-filled pipette tip boxes, for convenience and with certified purity. However, depending on your needs, you can also purchase bags of autoclavable pipette tips, which can be inserted into our reusable pipette tip boxes. This helps to reduce plastic waste and is suitable for sterile workflows, as both our pipette tips and tip boxes are autoclavable.

With their two-phase design, these tips offer almost 100 % protection from contaminating aerosols . The white layer closest to the sample retains drops, splashes and aerosols, while the layer closest to the pipette forms a second barrier against contamination. Using 16- or 24-channel pipettes?

Our epT.I.P.S.® 384 and ep Dualfilter T.I.P.S.® 384 are designed to be used with Eppendorf 16- and 24-channel pipettes. With these pipette tips, you can process 384 well microwell plates manually, with a high level of tip tightness and alignment, in addition to low operating forces.

Handling viscous, volatile, or hazardous liquids?

If you’re handling liquids that are viscous, volatile, or hazardous, Eppendorf positive displacement pipette tips – Combitips® advanced and ViscoTip® – are an ideal choice. This type of pipette tip can accurately dispense liquids regardless of their physical properties, e.g. viscosity, volatility, density, or temperature. In addition to accuracy, positive displacement pipette tips provide hermetic sealing, ensuring protection from toxic or hazardous substances.

Looking for serological pipettes?
