Poster Abstract Submission

 

Poster abstract submission for the Stem Cell Community Day 2021 is now open!

We invite you to share your compelling stem cell research – seize the opportunity to present your work at the SCCD 2021!

Important dates and deadlines: Submission possible until October 22, 23:59 CET
Review Phase: October 23, noon (CET) until October 30, 23:59 CET
Notification of Acceptance: October 31, 2021 by email

All accepted abstracts will be published in the SCCD 2021 abstract book which will be part of the conference material for all participants.

 

 

 

Poster Prize:
A poster jury will assess all posters presented on the Stem Cell Community Day and three posters will be chosen as winners of the poster award:

1st prize: EUR 1.000,-
2nd prize: EUR 500,-
3rd prize: EUR 200,-

The evaluation of the posters will be based on scientific content (novelty of the work and quality of the results and discussion) and presentation (appearance, clarity).

Abstract Guidelines

  • Abstracts of approximately 300 words (2’000 printable characters including title, abstract content and non-visible characters) should be submitted via the online submission form.
  • Please check your abstract regarding spelling, grammar, or scientific mistakes, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proof reading will be done.
  • Abstracts cannot be edited after submission.
  • Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt.
  • If you want to withdraw your abstract please contact the Conference Office.
  • Abstracts can only be accepted as poster presentation.

Poster Pitch Presentations

All poster presenters will have the opportunity to present during the poster pitch session (possible for in-person attendance as well as virtually).
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to present the key elements of their poster for two minutes at the Stem Cell Community Day.

  • Cultivation systems || Shake flasks / Cell stacks / Bioreactors / 2D / 3D
  • Cell therapy || Advanced Therapy / ATMP / Gene Therapy / Clinical Trials / Regenerative Medicine
  • Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) || Exosomes
  • Novel food || Artificial meat

The Scientific Committee will select submitted abstracts and determine whether they are accepted as poster presentations.

The instructions for posters will be provided together with the notification of acceptance.

The Presenting Author of the abstract selected for presentation must be registered for and be present at the meeting (both Online and Onsite Registration is possible). Please be available for discussion during the poster session.
