Improving human living conditions – that is our shared purpose at Eppendorf. I listen to truly understand.
I lead the way, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
I stand by what I say.
I make progress visible and share what I learn.
If this resonates with you, you are exactly who we are looking for.
You will work with people who combine different perspectives and make new things possible. You contribute your ideas, ask questions, challenge the status quo – and you will find an environment that empowers you and helps you grow. Because we believe in people who want to shape the future. People like you.
How you can make an impact
In this role, you are at the heart of our customer service operations, ensuring that every service, repair, and maintenance request is handled efficiently and professionally. By coordinating activities between customers, Field Service Engineers, and the Service Manager, you help deliver a seamless, high-quality service experience. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication support smooth processes, timely interventions, and high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate and follow up on customer service, repair, and maintenance requests
Schedule and dispatch appropriately certified Field Service Engineers
Manage and track in‑house repairs in line with contractual requirements and service levels
Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations, correspondence, and contract proposals
Maintain accurate records, documentation, CRM entries, and inventory related to service activities
Provide proactive back-office and administrative support to the Service Manager and wider Service team
What sets you apart
You have previous experience as a service coordinator in a fast‑paced, reactive service environment, and you bring strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
Solid numeracy skills and a good understanding of figures are vital for this role; experience in an office or sales environment and knowledge of commercial contracts are desirable.
You are highly proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills, and you have knowledge of SAP and CRM systems.
You demonstrate strong time management, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to multitask, working both independently and as part of a team.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
What we offer
Your work is meaningful. Together we contribute to improving human living conditions.
We offer you creative freedom with a strong, international premium brand in the life science industry.
We value and reward your performance with an attractive salary.
Continuous professional development opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Our opportunities range from a variety of training courses, participation in conferences, and access to learning platforms.
With us, you will find a colorful, cosmopolitan, and appreciative working environment with always up‑to‑date technologies, methods, and tools in an environment that also invites networking.
What matters to us
At Eppendorf, we believe that science thrives on curiosity – and on many different perspectives.
Our Eppendorf team is as diverse as the questions asked across the life sciences. Different backgrounds and ways of thinking help us develop better solutions for research.
Come as you are, bring what makes you unique – and help us shape what diversity can make possible in science.
Please note that we can only consider applications submitted via our online application system.
We look forward to getting to know you.
