Longevity
A reliable centrifuge should last for many years. The longevity of equipment is crucial in assessing the sustainability of laboratory instruments. High-quality parts and a robust design ensure years of trouble-free use at the bench. However, to ensure the longevity of our centrifuges, we do not leave it at that: We perform long-term stress tests on various functions such as lid opening and closing as early as during the R&D phase to ensure the longevity of the materials we use in our products. Eppendorf centrifuges enjoy a wide reputation as long-lasting equipment — some centrifuges made in the early 60s are still operational in laboratories today!
