How you can make an impact
In this role, you ensure that our instruments perform reliably at customer sites – enabling high‑quality results in the lab and contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Install standard equipment and specialty instruments at customer sites, ensuring correct configuration, validation and customer handover.
Attend breakdown calls for standard equipment and specialty instruments, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and restoring operation with minimum downtime.
Perform planned maintenance for standard equipment and specialty instruments in line with service schedules and quality standards.
Carry out pipette repair and calibration according to defined procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance and proper documentation.
Drive service revenue generation in your territory, including preparing service/AMC proposals, following up with customers and supporting payment collection.
Manage service revenue and compliance in your territory, ensuring that all activities follow internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Communicate proactively with customers on service actions, timelines and outcomes – including sharing service reports and certificates.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations or product briefings for customers when needed, explaining instrument use, care and maintenance.
Collaborate closely with the Branch Sales Manager and sales colleagues to identify service‑driven sales opportunities and support customer retention.
Provide structured market and product feedback to management, helping to improve our service offering and identify new opportunities.
What sets you apart
Bringing 5 - 7 years of experience in instrument service and/or as a field service engineer, ideally in a laboratory or life science environment.
Demonstrating a solid understanding of customer applications and workflows, enabling you to troubleshoot effectively and advise customers in a practical way.
Communicating clearly and professionally in both verbal and written form, including explaining technical topics to non‑technical users.
Informing customers transparently about action plans, next steps and timelines, and sharing service certificates and documentation in a structured way.
Using MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) confidently to prepare reports, service documentation and customer presentations.
Holding a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in B.E. (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation or a comparable field).
Working independently, solution‑oriented and with a high sense of responsibility for safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
