Please note, many features are only accessible when you are logged in to your account.

1. How to create a log-in account

1. Visit www.eppendorf.com


2. Go to “Account”
   
    Click “Account” at the top left of the page
    and then click on “New account”.
 

3. The prompts
   

    Follow the prompts through the account
    creation process.

    Please note that both Email address
    and Password are case sensitive.


4. Activate new account
   
   
Once your registration is complete,
    you will receive an email
    to activate your account – simply
    open the email and click the link
    provided to activate your new
    account (be sure to check your
    spam).


2. How to place your order online

1. Visit www.eppendorf.com


2. Go to account

    Click “Account” on the top left
    of the page and enter your
    Email address and Password.

    Don’t forget they are both case
    sensitive

3. Add products

  
    Once logged in, click on
   “Shop & Products”, browse through the
   product categories and add products to the
   shopping cart.

4. Complete your order

    Proceed to the checkout process
    and place your order


3. How to apply a quotation

1. Top menu navigation
  
    You can find the “Quotations” icon in the
    header section.
    It is also reachable through the
    “Menu” navigation

 

2. Navigate menu
   
    Click on “Menu” on the top left then next
    to “Shop & Products” click on the “+” sign

View Quotations

3. Quotation number
    
   
Enter your quotation number in the
    provided field and click “Add Quote”

4. Verification


   You will be prompted to enter your
   “Quote Verification Code” for verification
   purposes  found on the first page
   of your quotation

5. Overview quotation(s)

   
    When the quote(s) appear(s), depending
    on your quote type, you have the ability
    to click “View Quote” and “Mark all” the
    items to your cart or select products
    individually.  Click “Add to cart” at the
    bottom when the selection is completed
    and you will be redirected to the
    checkout process.

   
    Package pricing quotes require that all
    quoted products be added to the cart.


4. How to apply a promotion code

1. The promotion code

    If you have a promotion code, go to your
    shopping cart and enter your code
    in the provided field at the bottom.
    Then click the “Apply” button to redeem
    the code and the promotional discount
    will be reflected in the cart.

   Please note:
   Promotion codes cannot be combined
   with quotations, unless it is a free
   shipping code to be used with
   an Individual Pricing quote only.

   End users are responsible for redeeming
   any promotion code(s) received,
   and for ensuring their checkout price
   reflects the expected promotional discount.
   Any order placed is considered final,
   and all payment responsibility resides
   with the end user. Promotion codes
   cannot be applied to orders in progress,
   or shipped.

5. How to upload tax exempt form

1. Tax exemption*

    If you are an institution with tax
    exemption, you can upload your form
    during the last step of the
    check-out process “Summary” to remove
    the tax calculation. Ensure all billing and
    shipping information is accurate,
    click “Place Order” and your
    order will be processed.

 


6.1 Online shop features - Online shop order history

1. Order history*

   
To view details of your past online shop
    orders (order number, order total and
    status) or to replicate past orders,
    follow these simple steps to access
    the online shop order history.
  

2. Click “Account” on the top left

    of the page and enter your Email address
    and Password

   Don’t forget they are both case
   sensitive


3a. Once you are logged in, click on
  
  “Account” to enlarge the display
  and continue with clicking “eShop
  Order History”.


3b. If you go through the menu,

  once you are logged in, go to the
  upper left corner and click on
  the “Menu” Icon

 Expand the “myEppendorf”
 drop down menu by clicking
 on the “+” sign


4. You will find a list of your past
  orders.

  If you click on a past
  order, you will see the details of
  the order. For replication, click
  on “Add Order to Cart” and
  manage the products and quantity

6.2 Online shop features - Check stock levels

1. Check stock levels*

As a registered online shop user, you can
    check to see whether products are in stock.
    Once logged into the account, you can see
    product availability by clicking on the
    “Check availability” link beneath the
    quantity field.

 

 

 

 

 

 

b You can check the stock levels
   again in the shopping cart by
   clicking “Check stock”. This
   becomes specially interesting
   when you update the amount of
   items that you intend to purchase,
   allowing you to check again the

6.3 Online shop features - Quick order + batch order

1. Quick order + batch order*

  
Already know the part/catalog numbers
   you would like to order?
   Just enter the part numbers on this page
   to add everything to your cart. No need
   to search for individual product pages
   to find the item you want.


2a You can find the “Quick Order”

   icon in the header section.
   It is also reachable through the
   “Menu” navigation.


2b Go to the upper left corner
 
  and click on the “Menu” icon.
  Expand the “Ordering” drop
  down menu by clicking on
  the “+” sign.
  Finally, click on the “Quick
  Order” link.


3a Quick Order
 
  Enter catalog number line by line and click
  “Add to order list”.
  Click “Add to cart” when all
  items are added.


3b Batch Order
 
  Click "Download template” and add article
  numbers. Check the format of
  the article numbers (e.g. leading
  zeros) and click “Upload”.
  Click “Add to cart” when all
  items are added.

6.4 Online shop features - Recurring Orders

1. Recurring orders*

    Would you like your Eppendorf products to
    be delivered at regular intervals?
    Simply set up your order recurrently.

2. Click “Account”

    on the top left of the page and enter
    your Email address and Password

    Don’t forget they are both case sensitive


3. Once logged in

    click on “Shop & Products”, browse
    through the product categories
    and add products to the shopping cart


4. Proceed with the checkout
 
    process to the last checkout
    step “Summary”


5. Click on “Set Recurring Order”

    specify and “Save” mandatory
    information such as start/end
    date and frequency


6. Place your order

   Please note: To change details
   of your existing recurring order

6.5 Online shop features - Save cart as PDF

1. Save cart as PDF*

   
    Would you like to save your online
    shopping cart including your
    prices, applied promotions, and quotes?
    Create a PDF and save/ forward it.


2. Browse through the online shop

   
    and add products to your cart.


3. Go to your shopping cart

   
    and click “Create PDF” at the bottom
    of the website.


4. A PDF will be created immediately.

  
   Click on the articles in the
   PDF and get directed to the
   online shop.


6.6 Online shop features - Label your plates

1. Visit www.eppendorf.com/barcodewizard

    Or

    Navigate to the „Laboratory Consumables“
    page, scroll to the bottom and find
   „Label Your Plates“

2. Log in to your account with your
    email address and password

    Or

    Click “Registration” and follow the
    prompts to create a log-in account

    Note: Don’t forget log in credentials
    are both case sensitive

3. Click “Start Wizard” to start the process

    Or

    Click “History” to look at your
    barcode request history

4. Configuration

   Tip: You can check your order history
   to ensure continuation of the barcode
   sequence before filling out the wizard
   if you are logged in to your account.

Make your selection:

  1. Plate type
  2. Well/volume configuration
  3. Purity grade
  4. Frame color
  5. Packaging size

5. Barcode position

    Choose the placement and if you
    want a human readable label.

    Tip: Check the linked PDF with
    descriptions of possible barcode positions.

    Note: Barcode positions may differ in cost.

6. Barcode type

    Choose barcode type, prefix (optional)
    and starting number.

  • Code 128: high density barcode;
    alpha/numeric only (8 or 10 digits)
  • Code 39: variable length barcode;
    alpha/numeric & special symbols
  • Interleaved 2 of 5: 1st digit is encoded
    in the 1st 5 bars and the 2nd digit is
    encoded in the 1st 5 white lines
    (2 out of every 5 bars are wide)

    Note: Example differs from final
    printed barcode

7. Quantity

    Choose order quantity

    Note: Minimum order 300 plates.
    Every order is customized from
    the manufacturing run to the barcoding

8. Contact address and overview

    Verify if contact address and overview
    of the order is correct

9. Request for quotations

    You will receive an e-mail containing a
    PDF document with your
    barcode specifications.
    This document will also be sent
    to your local Eppendorf
    organization and you will receive
    a quotation
    for the selected and specified items soon.
