How you can make an impact
You will support the Service team in installing, maintaining and servicing manual liquid-handling devices and pipettes. This role will provide hands-on exposure to laboratory equipment, customer service, calibration processes and service-business operations while helping customers keep their instruments reliable and fit for use.
Support the installation of manual liquid-handling devices at customer sites under the guidance of experienced Service Engineers.
Assist with breakdown service activities for liquid-handling devices, including basic inspection, troubleshooting and corrective service actions.
Assist with preventive maintenance and routine servicing of liquid-handling devices and pipettes.
Support pipette repair activities, including inspection, cleaning, disassembly, assembly and functional checks as required.
Assist with pipette calibration activities in accordance with defined procedures and quality requirements.
Maintain accurate records of service visits, maintenance activities, repairs and calibration work.
Support the generation of service revenue through billable service activities and assist with payment collection follow-up when required.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding service visits, schedules, requirements, action plans and pending activities.
Assist in preparing and sending service proposals in coordination with the Service and Sales teams.
Support customer presentations, product demonstrations and basic user guidance under supervision.
Work closely with the team to support customer requirements and service opportunities.
Assist in collecting and sharing market feedback, including customer needs, product observations and service-related opportunities, with management.
Support revenue management activities by maintaining updated records of service opportunities, proposals, invoices and pending payments.
Assist with complaint management by recording customer concerns, coordinating follow-up and supporting timely resolution.
Execute assigned tasks systematically and meet defined productivity, throughput, quality and service standards.
Complete service reports and other documentation accurately and on time.
Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, service processes and reporting standards.
Demonstrate willingness to learn new products, technical procedures and customer-service practices.
What sets you apart
Freshers and candidates seeking an apprenticeship are encouraged to apply.
Diploma, ITI, B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical discipline will be preferred.
Interest in laboratory equipment, precision instruments, technical service and customer support.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electronic or instrument-handling concepts will be an advantage.
Willingness to learn pipette operation, maintenance, repair and calibration procedures.
Systematic and disciplined approach to completing assigned tasks.
Ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures and standard operating practices carefully.
Good attention to detail when handling pipettes, liquid-handling devices, tools and service records.
Customer-focused attitude with clear and professional communication skills.
Dedication to work, punctuality, reliability and timely reporting of activities.
Ability to work collaboratively with Service, Sales and Branch teams.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CRM and service-reporting systems.
Ability to meet defined productivity, throughput and quality norms.
Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
Demonstrated interest in contributing to team and organizational goals.
