Do something good for your pipettes!

The quality of your work results is significantly influenced by the precision and accuracy of your pipettes and dispensers. Pipettes are precision instruments whose normal wear leads to inaccuracies over time. With regular maintenance and calibration to maintain the precision and accuracy of Eppendorf's pipette service, you are committed to long-term quality results.

The ISO 8655-6:2022 is an international standard for calibration and testing procedures of piston-operated volumetric apparatus like pipettes, burettes, dilutors, and dispensers, which must be performed at least once a year. It defines the respective criteria and which maximum permissible error limits should be used at each volume tested. ISO 8655 criteria include the tip usage for pipettes (pipette and tip as one system), number of measurements and volumes, controls for room environment, and the permissible quality of the test chain.

Our calibration service ensures that our stringent and validated procedures for pipettes and dispensers from Eppendorf and other brands (e.g. Gilson, Mettler Toledo, ThermoFisher, Sartorius, etc.) comply with the highest possible standards and are also ISO 17025 accredited (DAkkS, DKD, ILAC, ENAC, COFRAC and others). ISO/IEC 17025 criteria include a traceability chain for measurement equipment, measurement uncertainty values, and approved quality standards for testing and calibration – such as precisely achieving desired environmental conditions. The service processes have been audited extensively by an independent regulatory authority. The laboratory equipment has been certified by another accredited calibration laboratory.
