Eppendorf Research 3 neo mechanical pipettes have received two major international awards, underscoring their strong adoption in laboratories worldwide and outstanding product design quality.
The Research 3 neo has been voted Best New General Lab Product 2025 in the SelectScience® Scientists’ Choice Awards®, where scientists and lab professionals around the world nominate, review, and vote for the laboratory products that make the biggest difference to their work. This award reflects direct, independent feedback from the scientific community and recognizes the Research 3 neo pipette line as one of the most impactful new solutions for general lab use.
In addition, the pipette line has been recognized with the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2026. The Red Dot jury of international experts evaluates submissions based on criteria such as design quality, ergonomics, innovation, and functionality. The Research 3 neo pipette was honored in the Product Design category for its ergonomic form, intuitive handling, and user-focused design features tailored to everyday laboratory workflows.
Combining high precision and accuracy with low operating forces, fast volume adjustment, and customizable settings, the Research 3 neo pipettes are engineered to support reproducible results and user comfort in routine and demanding lab applications alike. Features such as the temporary adjustment setting, 4-digit volume displays, and a robust construction designed for long-term reliability further contribute to their strong acceptance among users.
“These awards are especially meaningful because they come from two sides of what matters most to us: the scientists who use our products every day and international experts in design,” said Simon Plate, Global Marketing Manager, Eppendorf SE. “The Research 3 neo pipette embodies our commitment to enabling better research outcomes through reliable, ergonomic, and thoughtfully designed instruments.”
