We make what matters

Eppendorf Malaysia Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is located in Bandar Cassia Technology Park. The new site is planned as a modern, integrated manufacturing facility for selected products from the Centrifuges & Instruments portfolio. Construction of the new site is planned begin by early 2027 at the latest. Production is expected to begin gradually during the ramp-up phase in 2028.

Recruiting of our founding team will begin shortly and will shape an exciting journey – building on existing Eppendorf structures the team will help establish how the site works: from operational routines and quality practices to collaboration, learning and workplace culture.

Malaysia a Story of Growth and lasting Partnership

Malaysia has long played an important role in Eppendorf’s Asia-Pacific success story. What began in 1995 as a small office in Kuala Lumpur with three employees supporting customers and partners in Southeast Asia has grown over three decades into a regional hub.

The new Penang production site now opens the next phase of this long-standing relationship: complementing a strong commercial, service and regional support presence by a meaningful manufacturing presence. In its current setup, the Penang site will begin manufacturing Eppendorf products in 2028, employing production staff locally, with further potential for expansion as operations grow.

Eppendorf Malaysia Technologies Sdn. Bhd. will be integrated into our global manufacturing and quality framework from the outset, with the same expectations for product quality, process reliability, compliance and operational excellence that apply across the company’s existing production network. Additionally, existing sustainability standards are reflected in the new site. We are aiming for LEED Gold certification, supported by energy-efficient building systems and a sustainable architectural design.
