For workflows involving multi-well vessels, switching to multi-channel micropipettes can significantly boost your efficiency. 8- or 12-channel micropipettes are commonly used for 96-well plates and PCR strips, while 16- or 24-channel micropipettes allow for faster processing of 384-well plate formats. Electronic micropipettes offer greater consistency, reduced hand strain, and dispensing and mixing modes that increase workflow efficiency compared with mechanical micropipettes.
