The majority of the Eppendorf bioreactor systems are designed to support the cultivation of various cell types, including mammalian cell lines, stem cells, yeasts, and bacteria. They can be equipped with different bioreactor types and can support various gas flow-, agitation-, and feeding strategies, enabling the optimization of culture conditions for different cell types.

The Eppendorf bioreactor systems enable seamless scale-up from R&D to production

Our portfolio of bioprocess controllers supports working volumes from 60 mL to 2400 L. Many bioprocess systems have a wide working volume range for 10-fold scale-up and more on a single platform. The Scale Up Assist software feature on some systems further simplifies the transition from process development to production.

The Eppendorf small and bench-scale bioreactor systems are compatible with glass and BioBLU^® Single-Use Bioreactors

You can easily convert the Eppendorf small and bench-scale bioreactor systems from single-use to reusable bioreactors and vice versa. This gives you flexibility in terms of bioreactor types without the cost of replacing the whole system.
