The epMotion pipetting technology is based on the classic Eppendorf piston-stroke pipettes; thus, protocols previously carried out manually are easily transferred to the liquid handling robot epMotion. Its compatibility with a wide range of predefined consumables allows for the maintenance of established protocols. The required labware and liquid volumes, as well as the tip type and quantity, are checked with an optical sensor prior to each run.
