Eppendorf Webinar:Exploring mRNA Vaccine Quality Control and Plasmid Preparation Processes
news
- Unternehmensnachrichten
The global pandemic of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) has caused a serious public health crisis and become a leading cause of death. To mitigate the public health and socioeconomic impact of COVID-19, vaccine research and development organizations around the world are actively developing vaccines.Among them, mRNA vaccines have attracted considerable attention thanks to their short production cycles, high cost-effectiveness and high design versatility. Moreover, the potential application value of mRNA technologies in connection with other diseases such as cancer has led to a global upsurge in mRNA research and development.
With the increasing adoption of mRNA vaccines, their quality control has never been more crucial.Likewise increasing is the market demand for plasmids as an important API for mRNA vaccines. Therefore, the production capacity of plasmids needs to be further improved.
This time, Eppendorf is honored to be hosting Dr. Li Liang, Head of the Hanhai New Enzyme Molecular R&D Department, and Mr. Wei Sheng, Applications Specialist in the Eppendorf Biotechnology Department. Respectively, they will introduce the audience to the considerations involved in mRNA quality control protocols in the context of enzymatic synthesis development, as well as process development strategies for plasmid DNA fermentation production.
Time:Tuesday, June 28, 7:30-9:00 PM
Topic 1:Considerations for mRNA Quality Control Protocols in the Context of Enzymatic Synthesis
Special guest Dr. Li Liang, Head of the Hanhai New Enzyme Molecular R&D Department
1. Domestic and foreign mRNA drug industrialization processes and technical challenges
2. The impact of enzymatic reactions on quality indicators
3. Difficulties and solutions of mRNA quality control
4. Discussion on the quality standards for mRNA stocked in liquid form
Topic 2:Process Development Strategies for Plasmid DNA Fermentation Production
Special guestMr. Wei Jinxing, Applications Specialist, Eppendorf Biotechnology Department,
1. Microbial fermentation and plasmid DNA applications
2. Plasmid DNA production processes and regulatory requirements
3. Optimization of plasmid DNA fermentation technologies
4. Large-scale development of plasmid DNA fermentation processes
