Quality
Our high-speed and ultracentrifuge consumables are made from high-quality materials, including polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or stainless steel, offering (depending on the material) high strength, heat, or chemical resistance. Our tubes and bottles also have several high-quality design features, with sample protection and safety being our top priorities.

Diversity
Our high-speed and ultracentrifuge tube and bottle range has been developed with diversity and versatility in mind. Our collection includes tubes and bottles with varied thicknesses, materials, and sizes, letting you find the options that suit you and your samples.

Find high-speed and ultracentrifuge tubes and bottles for your lab
When choosing consumables for your high-speed centrifuges or ultracentrifuges, we understand there are many factors to consider, including tube and bottle type, material, and volume.

High-speed and ultracentrifuge tube and bottle type
- Microtube© – Convenient 1.5 mL tubes that are easy to handle and can spin at up to 252,000 × g (depending on the rotor type).
- Thick-walled tubes – Their extra wall thickness makes these tubes a safe option for high-speed and ultracentrifugation, offering enhanced durability and resistance to heat.
- Seal tubes – These are well suited for hazardous samples, including those that are infectious or pathogenic, with heat-welded seals and extra wall thickness offering higher sample protection. Click here for more guidance on handling hazardous samples.
- Centrifuge bottles – We have two different types of high-speed and ultracentrifuge bottles, including round bottles for high resistance to g-forces, and flat-bottom bottles that have a wider opening and are available in larger volumes (up to 1.5 L).
Looking to optimize your high-speed centrifugation? Our high-speed centrifuges CR22N and CR30NX can process 4 X 1.5 L bottles per run! Learn more in our whitepaper.

Our high-speed and ultracentrifuge bottles are made of PP or PC, with their strength and durability making these a great everyday option. If you need optical clarity, which is key for observing cell pellets and balancing volumes, our PC or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles are an excellent choice.
