The bread and butter method of genomics - Learn how to improve your (q)PCR!
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) has gone through a massive evolution since its development in 1983. Besides its age of 36 years it is still a core component of numerous complex applications. The PCR is the workhorse method in virtually every molecular biology laboratory and the gold standard in countless analytical assays.
Despite its broad usage, there are several factors that need to be considered to design a successful PCR experiment. Starting from more apparent things like temperature settings and DNA template quality to less known factors as pipetting techniques and used consumables, this webinar covers multiple ways to improve your PCR. In addition, we will also take a closer look at the special requirements of qPCR as probably the most commonly used variant of traditional PCR.
