I listen to truly understand.
I lead the way, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
I stand by what I say.
I make progress visible and share what I learn.
If this resonates with you, you are exactly who we are looking for.
You will work with people who combine different perspectives and make new things possible. You contribute your ideas, ask questions, challenge the status quo – and you will find an environment that empowers you and helps you grow. Because we believe in people who want to shape the future. People like you.
How you can make an impact
Lead and develop a high‑performing Bioprocess sales team with full line responsibility for revenue and direct sales staff in your assigned region.
Manage, coach and evaluate salespeople, providing training on sales techniques, opportunity and account management, pipeline development and time/territory management, while mentoring them in their professional growth.
Define clear individual goals, quotas and performance expectations, and act as a senior management contributor in leadership meetings and strategic discussions.
Establish and optimize sales territories and quotas, managing and approving price discounting in line with profitability targets and corporate guidelines.
Oversee all sales activities, ensuring proper and consistent use of CRM, quoting and reporting systems to maintain transparency, forecast accuracy and data quality.
Assign and supervise sales team participation at conferences and trade shows, ensuring strong representation of Eppendorf Bioprocess solutions and lead generation.
Spend up to 50% of your time traveling domestically and internationally to work directly with sales, service, field applications, marketing, corporate events and key customers, strengthening relationships and driving regional growth.
What sets you apart
Bringing a bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a comparable field from a four‑year college or university, combined with roughly eight years of related field sales experience in life sciences and/or management oversight; an equivalent combination of education and experience is also valued.
Advanced qualifications such as an MBA or M.S., or further commercial experience, are preferred and help you navigate complex bioprocess markets and strategic decisions.
Proven track record in leading and managing sales teams: you set direction, coach effectively, hold people accountable and inspire high performance.
Deep experience in life science field sales, ideally in bioprocess or related segments, with the ability to understand scientific customer needs and translate them into commercial strategies.
High digital fluency, including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, CRM systems, SAP, Webex/Skype/Teams and financial analysis tools to manage business performance.
Strong analytical and strategic mindset: you are comfortable working with pipelines, forecasts, pricing and profitability metrics to steer your region.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, including the willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to be close to your team, internal stakeholders and customers.
