Yes, it's possible, if you work with the Thermoadapter "Frosty" Order no.5075 789.000

Is it possible to use tubes from other manufacturer for ep Motion ?

Yes, it's possible to work with different ep Motion racks in different sizes. Also it's possible to work with racks from other manufacturers, if they are in SBS/SLAS format.

What purpose does the optical sensor serve?

The optical sensor has three different functions. 1. To scan the number of tips and kind of boxes. 2. Labware recognition on the worktable. 3. Amount of liquid in different tubes.

Can the dispensing tool pipet concentrated HCl?

Yes, the tools and tips are compatible. The tools can be easily cleaned and autoclaved.

How many positions does the ep Motion 5070 / 5070f have?

The working area has 4 positions. Also, the ep Motion 5070 has 3 virtual places outside of the device (Park positions).

How often can tips be re-used with the tips function of epMotion?

The tips can be reused for up to 6 times.
