How you can make an impact
In our organization for manual liquid handling solutions, you ensure that our pipettes and manual liquid handling devices perform with precision and reliability at customer sites. Your work directly supports accurate, reproducible results in laboratories and strengthens long‑term customer relationships.
You take responsibility for the installation of manual liquid handling devices, ensuring correct setup, functional testing and a proper handover with clear user guidance.
You respond to breakdown service requests for LH devices, diagnosing issues efficiently, performing repairs and minimizing downtime for our customers.
You carry out pipette maintenance, repair and calibration, following defined procedures and quality standards so customers can rely on accurate volume delivery and consistent performance.
You contribute to service revenue generation, identifying service opportunities (maintenance, calibration, repairs), preparing related documentation and supporting payment collection in line with internal processes.
You maintain clear, professional customer communication, providing updates on service status, explaining findings and recommendations, and ensuring a positive service experience.
You prepare and send service proposals and deliver customer presentations that explain our service offerings, calibration concepts and best practices for manual liquid handling.
You work closely with the branch sales manager, aligning on customer needs, opportunities and priorities, and share market feedback with management to support product, service and strategy decisions.
You support revenue management for your territory, contributing to forecasts, tracking service performance and identifying opportunities to grow service and calibration business.
You take ownership of complaint management in your territory, ensuring issues are documented, followed up and resolved in a structured, customer‑oriented way.
By meeting productivity and throughput targets in line with standard norms, you ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery while supporting efficiency and profitability in your region.
What sets you apart
Bringing a technical degree in electronics, instrumentation, biomedical engineering, life sciences or a related field – or an equivalent combination of education and practical service experience.
Building on experience in field service or laboratory equipment servicing, ideally with a focus on pipettes or manual liquid handling devices.
Drawing on hands‑on skills in installation, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration of precision instruments, with strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to prepare service reports, calibration records, proposals and customer presentations.
Bringing a customer‑centric mindset: you listen carefully, communicate clearly and take ownership of customer issues until they are fully resolved.
Handling multiple service visits, travel within the territory and peak workloads with sound planning, prioritization and reliability.
Collaborating closely with Sales, Service Coordination and Management, sharing information proactively and contributing to a seamless customer experience.
Acting with a commercial mindset, understanding the impact of your service work on revenue, profitability and customer retention in your territory.
