3D Printers and Bone-Mimicking Materials
Lab Academy
Carmen is a passionate researcher in her doctoral studies. She tries to find a way to help people suffering from bone defects using 3D printers and bone-mimicking materials. These can be used as replacements for missing bone parts until the natural bone has recovered. Screws and metal parts in the body could be needless one day. Additionally, she teaches young students and is part of a program that makes science more available to non-scientists. She supports young scientists in how to talk about their projects in an easy and catching way.
