Why choose an Eppendorf floor centrifuge?
Longevity
Our floor centrifuges are built to last, crafted with high-quality materials that ensure they withstand the test of time. Our ultracentrifuges, of the Centrifuge CP-NX series, also extend durability by precisely tracking rotor speeds and run times, helping to maximize the lifetime of the rotor and ensure long-lasting performance. もっと読む

Usability
Intuitive, user-friendly operation means that even first-time users can operate our floor centrifuges with ease. All our floor-standing models feature intuitive touch-screen interfaces, clear instructions, and ergonomic designs, making them easy to operate even for novice users.

Efficiency
Our high-speed centrifuges – Centrifuge CR22N and Centrifuge CR30NX – support unique 1.5 L triangular bottles, speeding up biomass harvesting by reducing the number of bottles that need to be handled. And with no minimum filling level, any sample volume up to 1.5 L can be used, letting you spend less time changing bottle types and rotors.

Application
All our floor centrifuges are designed to support versatile applications, with the ability to harvest biomass, pellet cells, and extract organelles, extracellular vesicles, and viruses. Our instruments also support varied organism types, including mammalian, bacteria, and algae, with high separation performance.
With a wide range of rotor types, our floor-standing centrifuges support various sized tubes and bottles, so you can find the right rotor and instrument for your specific applications.

Speed
Sample capacity
Our range of floor centrifuges can support a wide range of capacities, and you should bear this in mind when choosing a model for your lab. At the lower end of the scale, our Centrifuge CS-(F)NX Series supports volumes of up to 30 mL, while our Centrifuge CP-NX Series supports volumes of up to 1,380 mL. At the other end of the scale, our highest capacity floor-standing centrifuges are the high-speed Centrifuge CR22N and Centrifuge CR30NX machines, supporting up to 6 L per run.
Floor space and noise
Two considerations that are often overlooked are centrifuge floorspace and noise levels. If space is an issue, or if you’re wanting to minimize noise, Centrifuge CS150FNX is an excellent choice. This is our fastest, yet most quiet and compact floor centrifuge. Taking up just 0.23 m2, and with noise levels below 45 dB(A) - the equivalent of a background radio - Centrifuge CS150FNX Series is a convenient option for busy environments with limited space. もっと読む
