Improving human living conditions – that is our shared purpose at Eppendorf. With our high-quality, precise premium life science products – from pipette tips, dispensers and centrifuges to bioreactors and ultra-low temperature freezers – we help scientists around the world conduct research in the lab faster, more accurately and more efficiently.
I listen to truly understand.
I lead the way, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
I stand by what I say.
I make progress visible and share what I learn.
If this resonates with you, you are exactly who we are looking for.
You will work with people who combine different perspectives and make new things possible. You contribute your ideas, ask questions, challenge the status quo – and you will find an environment that empowers you and helps you grow. Because we believe in people who want to shape the future. People like you.
How you can make an impact
In our Global Customer & Market Intelligence team, you turn customer insights into strategic decisions that shape Eppendorf’s innovation roadmap and growth.
- You design and implement Voice of Customer (VoC) programs using qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups and customer journey mapping, collaborating with external providers and internal stakeholders to drive product development, corporate strategy and go-to-market (GTM).
- By applying the Outcome-Driven Innovation (ODI) framework, you identify and prioritize customer needs and translate them into innovation impulses and new product development ideas across the organization.
- From large and complex customer data sets you extract and analyze insights, conduct workshops and present clear, actionable recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Through structured workshops with executives and customer-side experts, you discuss industry trends, review strategic initiatives and embed customer feedback into corporate and portfolio strategy.
- Research tools and methodologies are developed and managed by you, while you engage key customers and opinion leaders to derive strategic insights that strengthen our competitive position.
- You support the global customer survey, assess Eppendorf’s market strengths and weaknesses, create competitive benchmarks and translate VoC data into innovation and improvement opportunities.
- Acting as the interface to agencies, Legal, Compliance, IT and senior management, you plan and conduct primary research projects, ensure regulatory and ethical standards in all engagements and communicate customer-based recommendations through dashboards, presentations and concise reports.
What sets you apart
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sciences, Engineering or a related field and combine this with a strong interest in customer-centric innovation.
- At least five years of international experience in customer intelligence, market research or a related area within life sciences or a comparable industry enable you to navigate complex stakeholder environments safely.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, are familiar with leading VoC platforms and have successfully implemented insights-driven projects from scoping to impact measurement.
- A proven track record in leading cross-functional projects and workshops allows you to generate, assess and implement innovative solutions and strategic initiatives based on customer insights, including the practical application of the ODI framework to address unmet needs.
- You excel at presenting and visualizing data, for example with Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint, and adapt messages to different audiences, from operational teams to senior executives.
- In your daily collaboration you listen actively, recognize different perspectives, engage proactively with colleagues and stakeholders and foster open, respectful communication that supports joint problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, combined with the ability to build strong relationships across organizational levels and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, round off your profile.
