Improving human living conditions – that is our shared purpose at Eppendorf. With our high-quality, precise premium life science products – from pipette tips, dispensers and centrifuges to bioreactors and ultra-low temperature freezers – we help scientists around the world conduct research in the lab faster, more accurately and more efficiently.
I listen to truly understand.
I lead the way, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
I stand by what I say.
I make progress visible and share what I learn.
If this resonates with you, you are exactly who we are looking for.
You will work with people who combine different perspectives and make new things possible. You contribute your ideas, ask questions, challenge the status quo – and you will find an environment that empowers you and helps you grow. Because we believe in people who want to shape the future. People like you.
How you can make an impact
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment across all channels, maintaining a detailed and customer‑focused approach from order entry through delivery.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the product portfolio so that orders include the correct accessories, services and logistics (e.g. special delivery modes) for each customer.
Provide clear, proactive order support – including delivery status, estimated ship dates, stock levels and product availability or discontinuation – in close cooperation with the CPM Team.
Work directly with Logistics to obtain and communicate shipping quotes (e.g. ground, freight, white glove), and support the selection of the necessary ship mode.
Process order‑related complaints and cancellation requests, ensuring issues are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and documented accurately in CRM.
Navigate and update customer account information for online accounts in back‑office systems, distinguish fraudulent orders from valid requests, and identify discrepancies (pricing, quotation, Sold‑to/Ship‑to).
Interpret and translate quotations into the order entry system, liaising closely with Sales, Sales Support and Technical Support, and process all invoice‑related credits/debits and billing issues (e.g. mis‑shipments, duplicates) via eCRM.
What sets you apart
Bringing 2+ years of experience in customer service or customer support, ideally in an order administration or similar role.
Confident in data entry, preferably into a CRM system, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with SAP is preferred, or you are comfortable quickly learning ERP systems and related order‑processing tools.
Strong analytical eye for detail that helps you spot discrepancies (pricing, quotations, addresses) and distinguish fraudulent from legitimate orders.
Clear written and verbal communication skills that allow you to provide precise order information and collaborate effectively with Sales, Logistics and Support teams.
Structured, reliable working style: you manage multiple orders and requests in parallel, follow processes and document activities thoroughly.
Service‑oriented mindset: you strive to provide seamless support to both internal and external customers and stay calm and solution‑oriented when issues arise.
What we offer
We value your contribution. An hourly wage in the range of $23–$26, plus bonus eligibility, reflects your role in keeping our order flow and customer experience strong.
Direct impact on the business. Your accuracy and responsiveness directly influence customer satisfaction, revenue recognition and operational efficiency.
Comprehensive benefits. A competitive total rewards package, including health, financial and education benefits, supports you in different stages of life.
Room to grow. Opportunities to deepen your expertise in order administration, ERP/CRM systems and the life science industry, and to explore further career steps within Eppendorf.
Collaborative environment. You work closely with Sales, Logistics, Sales Support and Technical Support in a team that values clear communication and mutual support.
