Webinar
Research Documentation in the Digital Age
Lab Academy
- Health & Medicine
- Digital Lab Solutions
- Recorded Webinars
Who in the lab is constantly challenged by time-consuming documentation of laboratory procedures?
Event Date:
February, 22nd 2022
Event Time:
9am CET
Speaker:
Katharina Besler
Event Description:
Who in the lab is constantly challenged by time-consuming documentation of laboratory procedures?
Handling handwritten protocols that are loosely stored in a laboratory notebook or spread across multiple pages can often result in loss of reproducibility. Digital tools can ease up on manual tasks and bring additional benefits. Among these are centralized data storage, automated data capturing, plus higher adaptivity due to streamlined processes, resulting overall in more productivity and greater reproducibility.
Join our webinar and learn about the different solutions in today’s world, which could help you to pick the right tool for you and your future digital lab. Katharina will share key considerations when it comes to digitalizing your research documentation. Start your journey now with Eppendorf!
Speaker Bio:
Katharina is an applications specialist at Eppendorf SE who has made it her mission to drive the digitization of laboratories to increase efficiency and reproducibility and enable scientists to spend more time on what is most important - Their research. Before starting in her current position, Katharina gained broad experience in the application and optimization of modern life science methods and established clinical assays while driving basic cancer research at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf. At Eppendorf SE, she is responsible for experiment-related applications that leverage the power of the IoT and give scientists full control over their experiments while significantly reducing the documentation workload.
