PCR clean
PCR(ポリメラーゼ連鎖反応)など、多くの分子生物学的手法が臨床実験室や研究所に導入され、消耗品にも新しい純度基準が求められるようになりました。Eppendorfは個々の基準を分析し、これに基づいてPCR消耗品の要件を定義しました。

PCR cleanが満たす要件
- 純度グレードPCR cleanのEppendorfの消耗品はすべて、DNaseフリー、RNaseフリー*です。従って、実験に使用する微量の遺伝物質がDNaseやRNaseの影響を受けることはありません。
- DNaseとRNaseが存在しないことの試験:DNAまたはRNAラダーを含む反応バッファーを消耗品内で数時間、37 °Cでインキュベートします。DNAまたはRNAの分解の痕跡があってはなりません。

- 消耗品が核酸で汚染されていない*ことも保証されています。生産プロセス中にプラスチック製品に混入する可能性があるのは、一般的にはヒトDNA(皮膚の粒子などにより)です。
- ヒトDNAが存在しないことがPCR分析により確認されています。検出限界は2 pg DNA未満です。これは、人の細胞1 つよりも少ない量です。
- PCR阻害物質は含まれていません。EppendorfがPCR cleanと認定した消耗品にはPCR阻害物質は含まれておらず、PCR反応に干渉しません。
- 消耗品は、標準反応に対し、別個のPCR検査でテストされています。
- さらに、EppendorfのすべてのPCR clean製品は、弊社の標準的な消耗品に対して定められた品質基準を満たしています。湿潤状態、液密性、正確性、耐薬品性などに関する要件を完全に満たします。

清潔であることを保証する弊社の生産条件
純度グレードPCR cleanは本質的に、汚染発生さえ許さない条件でしか達成できません。従って、対応するプラスチック製品は、クリーンルーム条件で製造されます。製造エリアは空間が隔離され、特殊な防護服を着用しなければ、立ち入ることはできません。
必要なすべての試験に合格した消耗品にしか、PCR cleanのラベルは貼付されません。これは、お客様がさらに処理を行わなくとも、Eppendorfの消耗品を実験や分析に直接使用できることを保証する品質に関するシールです。当然のことながら、純度グレードPCR cleanの各ロットは外部の認定実験室により検査、認証されています。
