We are very pleased to hear that our customer magazine "Off the Bench" (OTB) was awarded silver at the Best of Content Marketing Award. OTB is listed in the category "Industry / Energy / Chemical / Pharma / Healthcare".
The BCM - Best of Content Marketing - has been the biggest competition for content-driven communication in Europe for years with more than 600 submissions. Since 2003, the Content Marketing Forum has been honoring the best corporate publications - be it print, digital or multichannel, internally or externally. Winning a BCM award was included with the evaluation factor II in the creative ranking of HORIZONT. A jury of experts with around 200 jurors decides in the awarding in the 75 announced categories.
Off the Bench enables us not only to reach scientists but also people who are interested in science. We inspire to get excited about the topics of life sciences and position the Eppendorf Group as a competent but reserved producer of a high-quality journalistic product. To create a balanced composition of popular science pieces, the content is divided in the following five categories (Inspiring Science, Dossier, Inside Eppendorf, Bright Minds and Exploring Life). Scientific topics and research projects from all over the world are combined and in each article experts are consulted in order to meet the needs of the demanding international readership. A special feature is the booklet-in-book concept: Eppendorf’s product-based topics are placed on eight pages long special ("Inside Eppendorf"). The magazine is published twice a year in German and English since 2016.
